The Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club (AHPRC) announces the launch of its highly anticipated 2024-2025 polo season, marking the continuation of its esteemed partnership with IFZA, the most dynamic and truly international Free Zone Community in the UAE, for the fifth consecutive year. This enduring collaboration underscores both organizations’ commitment to positioning Dubai as a premier destination for polo, attracting elite players from around the globe to compete in prestigious tournaments.
The agreement was signed at the Al Habtoor Group Headquarters by Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group, Founder of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup (DPGC) Series, and President of the UAE Polo Federation, and Martin G. Pedersen, Chairman of IFZA.
The new season officially commenced last October 26, 2024, with the Ladies Charity Cup – a signature event that not only showcases the dynamic sport of polo but also serves as a platform to support a charitable cause. This season opener reflects the Club’s vision of blending sport with community engagement, setting the tone for another impactful year.
The polo season will run until April 26, 2025, featuring a diverse calendar of competitive tournaments, exhibition matches, and youth polo events. This partnership between AHPRC and IFZA continues to reflect the synergy between the two entities, both focused on fostering the growth of polo while enhancing the UAE’s status as a top-tier destination for lifestyle and sport.
